Terms of Service
Effective date: September 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gymnastics Plus platform, website, and app (the “Services”). Gymnastics Plus is owned and operated by The Underground Performance Institute LLC, 6705 Oak Grove Parkway, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445 (“Gymnastics Plus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. What Gymnastics Plus is
Gymnastics Plus is a recruiting and training platform for gymnasts, their families, and college coaches. Gymnasts build a recruiting profile, upload video of themselves competing, track the colleges they are interested in, and communicate with coaches. College coaches use the platform to find and evaluate gymnasts.
We do not guarantee any recruiting outcome. We are a platform, not an agency, and no part of the Services is a promise that any gymnast will be recruited, offered a place, or offered a scholarship.
2. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old to have your own account.
If you are 18 or older, you may create an account and you accept these Terms for yourself.
If you are between 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf and must be linked to your account. By allowing a gymnast under 18 to use the Services, that parent or guardian agrees to these Terms for both of you and is responsible for the account. A linked parent or guardian can see the messages the account sends and receives.
If a gymnast is under 13, they may not create an account themselves and the Services will refuse to let them. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account for them. The parent accepts these Terms, is linked to the account, and remains responsible for it.
Coaches must be verified by us before they are given access to gymnast profiles. Coach accounts are not open to public signup.
A parent or guardian may close a gymnast’s account at any time using Delete Account in Settings, or by emailing support@gymnasticsplus.org.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@gymnasticsplus.org if you think someone else has access to it.
Give us accurate information, including an accurate date of birth. We use it to apply the age rules in section 2, and giving us a false one puts a gymnast in the wrong place on a platform used by minors.
One person, one account. Do not share logins or create an account for someone else, except a parent creating one for their own gymnast as described above.
4. Recruiting profiles are visible to college coaches
This is the purpose of the service, so it is stated plainly rather than buried.
A gymnast’s recruiting profile, including their competition record and any video they upload, is visible to verified college coaches on the platform. That is what a gymnast signs up for.
Profiles are not public. They are not visible to the open internet, they are not indexed by search engines, and they are not sold or given to anyone outside the platform. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
If you do not want a gymnast’s information visible to coaches, do not create a recruiting profile.
5. Content you upload
You keep ownership of everything you upload. Your video is yours. Your photographs are yours. Your posts are yours.
To run the platform we need your permission to use that content in specific, limited ways. By uploading it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, display it to the people the platform is designed to show it to (verified college coaches, your linked family members, and other members where you have chosen to post publicly within the community), and make the technical copies needed to deliver it, such as different video sizes.
This licence exists only to operate the Services. We do not sell your content. We do not licence it to anyone else. We do not use it in advertising. If we ever want to feature your video in our own marketing, we will ask you first and use it only with your separate written permission.
The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are required to keep by law and copies already made by people who were permitted to see it.
You promise that what you upload is yours to upload: that you own it or have permission, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. If a gymnast under 18 appears in a video, the person uploading it confirms they have the right to share it.
6. Community standards
The community and messaging spaces on Gymnastics Plus are used by teenagers. Behave accordingly.
You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or demean anyone
- Post hate speech, sexual content, or anything explicit or unsafe
- Impersonate another person, including a coach
- Share anyone’s private information
- Spam, advertise, or send unsolicited commercial messages
- Attempt to contact a gymnast off the platform in a way that avoids their linked parent
Posts and comments are checked automatically before they appear, and our Privacy Policy explains how. We also review reports from members. We can remove content, restrict posting, or close an account for breaking these rules, and for serious safety issues we will do it without warning.
If you see something wrong, use the report tools in the app or email support@gymnasticsplus.org.
7. Memberships and payments
Membership levels and their prices are shown on the Services. Today every membership level is free.
If we offer paid memberships:
- Prices are in U.S. dollars.
- A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in your account settings, or by emailing support@gymnasticsplus.org. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
- We may change prices, and we will tell you before a change affects you.
- Refunds are not generally offered for digital memberships, except where the law requires one.
- If you subscribe through Apple, Apple handles the payment and the cancellation, and you manage it in your Apple account settings rather than here.
Closing your account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through Apple. Cancel that with Apple.
8. Our content and marks
The Gymnastics Plus name, logo, software, course material, written content, and design are owned by The Underground Performance Institute LLC and protected by law. You may use them only as part of using the Services normally. You may not copy, republish, or resell them without our written permission.
9. What we do not promise
The Services are provided as they are. We work hard to keep them running and accurate, and we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error free.
Training, mindset, and recruiting material on the platform is educational. It is not medical advice, not coaching supervision, and not a substitute for a qualified coach, trainer, or medical professional. Gymnastics carries physical risk, and decisions about training belong to the gymnast, their family, and their coach.
We do not guarantee any recruiting result.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gymnastics Plus and The Underground Performance Institute LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for lost data, income, or goodwill, or for injuries arising from training or participation in gymnastics.
Our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to cover us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights. For an account belonging to a gymnast under 18, this applies to the parent or guardian who accepted these Terms.
12. Ending your use
You can leave at any time. Use Delete Account in Settings, or email support@gymnasticsplus.org. A parent or guardian can do this for a gymnast under 18.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that is used abusively or fraudulently, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect someone. Where it is safe and appropriate to do so, we will explain why.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Hennepin County, Minnesota, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant we will tell you rather than rely on you noticing.
15. Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, for example if the business is sold. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
